In 2017 Christopher Ingraham wrote this in the Washington Post “Today, the top 1 percent of households own more wealth than the bottom 90 percent combined. That gap, between the ultrawealthy and everyone else, has only become wider in the past several decades.”
Is a “revolt” brewing or will automation, AI or other workers just take over from the ones that are complaining to much?
Interesting fact. We as South African’s, the rainbow nation, miracle transformation, freedom, and all that nice stuff have the “most unequal country” based on income, according to the World Bank.
So workers everywhere are suffering, even in a country like SA where everyone was “set free”.
The rich know how to stay rich.
