I was born with a heart condition, it lead to panic and anxiety attacks. My experience was that the anxiety was worse to deal with than the heart condition. I worried about dying, every DAY! It was largely unfounded, but not in my mind.
I have developed a “thoughtarrest” technique to help me. Basically it helps me to see what I’m thinking about, and “arrest” it.
